Before immigrating to the United States, I practiced law in South Africa as a
criminal prosecutor and civil litigator. Since moving to Orange County, I have had the
privilege of practicing complex civil litigation, insurance defense, and family law while helping build and lead Bremer Whyte Brown & Meara, LLP from a small startup to a firm of more than 240 lawyers. Along the way, I have served on the Board of the OCBA and on the Board and as President of the Public Law Center. I am also a Board member of the Orange County Charitable Foundation, a past board member and secretary of the Banyard Inn of Court, and the Southern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. I am also a founder and co-chair of Women For Justice, an initiative to support the _____. These experiences have shaped my perspective and inspired my vision for the future of our Bar.
I envision an OCBA where every lawyer feels welcome and connected,
regardless of practice area or stage of career. In an increasingly specialized profession, the OCBA remains one of the few places where we can come together as one cohesive legal community.
If elected, my priorities will be to:

This vision is deeply personal to me. My husband is an attorney, and two of our four
children have chosen this profession. Watching the next generation begin its legal
journey has reinforced my belief that one of our greatest responsibilities is to prepare the lawyers who will one day lead the Bar we cherish today.
Together, let's build an OCBA where every lawyer feels they belong, every generation
learns from the other, and every member has the opportunity to lead, serve, and
contribute.
